Congrats! Looks like to cost of flying out of GSO will be even cheaper.

Not sure what is up with the link? Tried to copy and paste but is inop. I was trying to link with the GSO News and Record

Here is the CLT Observer link

Charlotte Observer | 10/22/2007 | Low-fare airline expands Greensboro service (http://www.charlotte.com/business/breaking_news/story/329450.html - broken link)

I am surprised to see GSO-Burbank service!

In a nutshell, Skybus chose GSO as its next focus city. In 2008 they will add service to 7 cites, add 375 jobs, mostly flight attendants and pilots. NC and the airport are providing financial incentives. Skybus us a new, well funded airline. They sell at least 10 seats on every flight for $10. Skybus, charges extra for almost everything, the flight attendants get a commission from onboard sales.

Thanks for fixing the link
Skybus will be very handy over the holidays and wow an airbus is very cool.
However I feel for the residents that live near it when that ship flying in or out.

Im curious though what are flight attendants making a commission on peanuts and pretzels?

Yes, the flight attendants make commission on inflight sales. Blankets and pillows are extra. Looking at their website they offer a wide variety of snacks, meals, and drinks from $2-$10. Alcohol is $5. Bringing your own food on board is not allowed. They also sell t-shirts, coffee cups, hats, etc.

lol works for me as long as they dont try to sale me how to fasten seat belt manual or that mask that pops down in case of emergency or toilet paper.

After being on some turbo props I would love to ride an airbus. I remember one I rode on only had 3 seats per row talk about claustrophia.

I gotta find me a place to visit now. If I can get cheap flights I can deal with sales attendants.
