Stonesthrow Apartments in Greensboro (apartment complex, for rent, condos)

I recently moved back to the Triad and have been looking to rent an apartment in the $600 (or less) range. I visited Stonesthrow Apts. on Farmington Dr. a few weeks ago and liked what I saw. But then I started reading reports about car break-ins, how the front gate hasn't been secured in over a year, and strangers wandering onto the property at night. Has anyone lived there? It actually gets a pretty good rating at Stonesthrow Apartments Ratings, Reviews, Map, Rents, and other Greensboro apartments for rent from ApartmentRatings.com.

I've also been looking at condos, but they usually don't include water, trash, or sewage. Today I was over in Sunset Hills looking at condos.

Strangers wandering on to the property at night? That can be any apartment complex anywhere. Except for a high security prison.

I haven't lived there personally but I know people who do. I am there frequently enough and it really depends on ones perception. All apartments will have their issues, and as often as I am there I do not see too many people out walking around at night, I do see the occasional vehicle speeding in and out. The gates typically are opened more than they are closed especially in the winter time. Parking is atrocious, but it is a larger complex and I have seen some areas where parking isn't so bad. I have never heard or seen anyone prowling around breaking into cars, but then again I don't really know what occurs in the very back of the complex either. They do have a security company that does come in patrolling every so often every night.
