I just love the idea of having so many options in such a small area. I laugh when people complain about the commute time between the various areas of the Triad and Triangle... I have to drive 1 1/2 hours just to get to a decent store in this area!

North Carolina, so it seems, is a target area for Hispanics, there are thousands in this area, also, the buckhorn flea market is perhaps the largest Hispanic flea market/Sunday social walking around the Market- in this part of the state. It is fun to watch, families with the girls walking with the parents, boys in groups teasing the girls who are under the supervision of their father, so the teasing is all good natured. It is a recreation of their Sunday ritual, with a few modifications, adaptions to their new life among Los Gringos. Gringos who speak, or even try to speak their language are appreciated.
