Greensboro and Winston-Salem rank among the most charming cities in the south. Greensboro ranks 3rd in the south and Winston-Salem ranks 11 in the south.
Three expected cities didn't even rank in the list. Charleston, SC
Savannah, GA and Asheville.
If you read the CNN article that made the list, these are "under the radar" cities, so Charleston, Savannah, Nashville, Asheville, etc. weren't considered.
Still, it's good to be included! And the write-ups are more thorough than you usually find on this sort of list.
This is not a list of the most charming cities in the South; it is a list of 15 overlooked charming cities in the South. I really hate it when local media completely change the title and meaning of these types of lists and it happens very often.
