Hi I am currently a resident of Asheboro and i work in Greensboro. My wife and I are considering a move to Greensboro. She works in High Point so that would be closer for her. Although i work in Greensboro I know very little about it. Is the housing affordable? How is the crime? Is it a progressive city with plenty to do and things to see? We are both withering in Asheboro! We are a little too young for the quietness of Asheboro. We are both 29. Any advice or details about Greensboro would be appreciated! Thanx!
There are plenty of areas between Greensboro & HP that would work for you. Even Pleasant Garden is closer. Housing is affordable but it will depend on the neighborhood, and there's plenty to do for folks your age- restaurants, museums, live music, coffee shops, book stores, you name it. In fact, it makes me jealous sometimes cause when I was your age (I sound like I'm 80, don't I?) there wasn't as much to do.

I hear Kernersville (sp??) is a really nice place to live that is smack dab betwen W-S and Greensboro. Give that a look-see. Jamestown is right between High Point and Greensboro. I hope this helps. We are driving to Greensboro tomorrow for a 3-day trip. I'm pretty excited!
