My husband and I along with 20 year old son want to move to Winston Salem from Detroit area. We would like to be in a home between $150,000 and $200,000 price range I am an OT and am looking for a job. Schools are not important but my husband would like a house with a garage on a bigger lot. Do not want to be too rural but don’t want to be in the city. Like to be outdoors hiking and my son likes to fish. Are there any neighborhoods anyway can recommend? Also any good home care agencies hiring OT’s? Thanks a lot.
Realtor.com shows 246 houses in Winston-Salem with a garage for under $200,000, so I don't think you'll have much trouble finding something. In general, the nicer neighborhoods are in the west and northwest part of the city.
Mtnseeker - There are plenty of jobs for OTs in this area. Check out Job Search | Indeed. If you are looking strictly for home health positions, check out Bayada and Gentiva. Best of luck!
