Not only that the exterior is outdated. It really does look like a 1980s suburban Hardees. I say tear it down and build a small park in it's place.
Your ability to completely ignore free market economics and private property rights continues to amaze. What if the owner of Hardee's doesn't wish to see his land turned into a park? Should the city condemn it? What happens when the city owns all of downtown and it is producing zero tax revenue?

I'm saying whay SHOULD happen. I know property owners have their rights.
There's a lot of things I'd like to see happen but they are not going to happen.

Why should it happen? The city should spend already scarce tax dollars to acquire the site? Then spend more to build and maintain a park way on the outskirts of downtown? A park thats not on any masterplan of downtown development? Huh?
The service at the Hardees in downtown Greensboro is terrible. Its incredibly slow and I discovered why. I sit in the drive thru so long I have to turn my engine off.went inside one day thinking I could get faster service than the drive thru and there were only two people working in there. Not only that they were dragging walking around like they just got of bed and one of the employees was wearing what looked like a night shirt. Aren't they suppose to be wearing a uniform of some sort? I don't know if Hardees has gone down hill or if it is just that location.

Hardee's requires that employees weave the fabric that their uniforms are made from? No wonder only 2 people were working there!
