I’m honestly tired of this corona virus, but I’m more tired of the wide spread fear, panic and misinformation.
4000+ people have died, mainly very old people and people that already had really severe health issues.
60.803 people have beat the virus and recovered as of March 12th, but the media has not said one word about this.
My friend told me, In London, 8 people have died, and they were all over the age of 80.
Since October 2019, influenza has tragically killed over 12.000 Americans, So can someone please explain to me why the world is losing their minds over this? Especially when such a massive amount of people have outright beat it. And shouldn’t we be asking how they beat it? Vs sensationalizing fear and panic?

Well, we don't want to overload the healthcare system. The goal is to minimize the strain on the system when tons of people are getting infected at the same time. The other issue is that it has about a 4% death rate. Sure, lots more people die from the regular flu, but WAY more people get the flu and only has a <1% death rate. We don't want this new virus being as common as the flu.
And to keep us on topic, it comes as no surprise that the NBA G-League has suspended the rest of the season as well. Tough times for Greensboro basketball fans.
I agree. If they are going to cancel the ACC Tournament, the whole NCAA Tournament should be canceled
