Great news! And if I'm not mistaken, there should be more to come. Fed-Ex is apparently going to have another hiring spree soon. I think a couple other companies at the airport will be hiring soon too.

This is a welcome boost to the aerospace industry in Greensboro.

Definitely great news, I look. Forward to seeing how it will continue to grow.

New jobs are great, but when did a Fedex warehouse become part of the "aerospace" industry?

My post wasn't particularly clear, but HAECO and the other upcoming announcements are the boost to aerospace. Not really Fed-Ex.

I think they’re saying that, because it’s a major part of the airport economy, like heaco or Honda Jet.

They? Who is "they"? You're the one who said it. The article you linked to doesn't mention aerospace.

And just because a company is located near an airport doesn't make it an "aerospace" company.

I’m sorry, but doesn’t the FedEx mid Atlantic hub looking to add 350 new employees to support more flights in and out of the mid Atlantic hub fall into the collective narrative that is the aerospace industry as a whole? Especially if it effects fedex’s global aerospace network?

I think they are arguing that “aerospace” refers to developing or maintaining flight technology, like what Honda Jet and Haeco does. The FedEx jobs are directly related to the airport and air cargo, but are they technically aerospace jobs? I guess not. Maybe the person doing maintenance on the plane but not the folks unloading it. Idk.
