Hey,
So, I have never herd of these stores till a few days ago. When I drove Past a shopping center in Winston THAT had one. Apparently they are popping up all over the place "pun intended " ... my aunt in Mt. Airy had a shopping bag from one.. I believe she told me they are owned by dollar general and they are like a upscale 5 below?!? Has anyone been in one and can offer insite?.. I didn't have time to check out the one in Winston. Do we have them here in Greensboro yet?

Pop-Up Shop. Not new at all. Just another milennial term for an old thing.

Think of the fireworks sellers in the parking lots somewhere.

The one in W-S an actual brick and mortar store in a shopping strip off Hanes Mall Blvd near Home Goods and Costco. I had never heard of them but saw the store just before Christmas. Looking at their website, it's not particularly interesting to this Baby Boomer.

Apparently so. They are owned by dollar general and they are like a upscale 5 below. Not to be confused by Saks 5th Avenue. It's a "5 Below".

Nope. They're a brick and mortar store, not a tent in Walmart's parking lot.

Pop Shelf. LOL That's funny. That's like Doller Tree / Dollar General raising prices above $ 1.00.
