Like everyone else we need to cut costs. Tired of paying so much for cell phones. My husband doesn't text or need data really. It's basically just to talk. Had to get rid of his flip phone and convert to a smartphone because the car doesn't connect unless a smartphone. I told him, he rarely is anywhere or at least far from home anyway so why bother? Spoke to Verizon about eliminating his phone with them ( I would have maybe just gotten him a prepaid) and they said it would only save us $10. I'm sorry I understand family plans, but let's say you are all alone, I don't think it's fair to penalize someone by making them pay more. It's the more the cheaper monthy family plan. It's irksome. So my question is, would spectrum mobile be a cheaper option? It's three of us., but as I said husband barely uses it. Also, is the reception that bad around here? Thanks

Are you asking about the Triangle (Raleigh/Durham) area or are you asking about the Triad (Greensboro/Winston-Salem/High Point)?

Actually we are in Chatham county. I should have put this in the triangle section. Didn't realize when writing. But it can also pertain to other areas of NC. since we could move in the future.
