My "local area" is North Carolina. The Texas Hammer has opened an NC office. In Raleigh. But he will serve (hammer) the entire state. Meaning, he will go the extra mile to win your case. DUI or whatever.

I agree, a lawyer that lives in the city, town, municipality and knows the DA's office personally is the best bet. It doesn't take legal talent to get charges dropped/reduced, it takes local connections. I've seen speeding tickets dropped with a phone call. It's not what you know, it's who you know.

Yes it does. AND, I have never seen speeding tickets "dropped" with a phone call.
