Hugh Holston mentioned during the Council's comments at the end of last night's Council meeting that a cybersecurity firm (SSCI) is coming to the old LabCorp building. He said it's owned by an A&T alumna and will be bringing 200-300 cybersecurity jobs.

That's good to see something going on that building, and great about the job opportunities it's bringing! On a side note. I wonder what LabCorp did with all the employees that use to work in that building? Did they let them work from home or move them to another location or just end their position?

I thought so, as well. It sounds as though the information took him by surprise, so maybe it's not being celebrated as much because we didn't have to pump them up with perks and fanfare in order to attract them. Regardless, I love that more tech jobs are being added, and agree that I'd like to hear more about it.
