My wife and I have noticed that we have 2 Hornets nests one over our front door in the nook between the wood and one in the back under our patio, we tried to spray the one in the back and almost got attacked by 10-20 hornets!!! So we are trying to find someone who can do it for use. Can anyone recommend anyone? We are in Whitsett. Thanks!
Well the one in the front door is lodged between the a 2 inch gap for the door frame and if I spray it I won't be able to remove the hive once I spray, from what I notice its a fairly decent size hive, about 2 feet long by 1 foot wide. The one under the patio that I can access I can see, so I don;t know the location of it or size.
We are in NC, close to Greensboro. Cleared some land behind us, found a huge nest attached to the back of the fence. They had not bothered us until yesterday. The nest is the size of a basketball? I called ORKIN here in Greensboro. U can follow up with me and I will let u know what happens. I was not even close to the hive yesterday mowing the lawn, I do not know how many came after me. They got my eye, face, nose. Not a pleasant experience.
