Does anyone have info on this school? Looks like a lot of funding went into the campus. I'd love to know what its reputation is in NC and if graduates find jobs upon graduation, etc.

HPU is a freakin' resort. The facilities are among the best in the state, if not the best, and the school only continues to get better.

The school has a strong reputation in the state of NC -- perhaps not as reputable as say Wake Forest or one of the state universities, but your degree definitely won't be scoffed at.

HPU isn't cheap, though, and you definitely should consider whether you'd rather pay $30K to attend HPU or another more reputable university that might take you a little further in distant places.

The university did a pretty good job of helping its graduates find jobs when I was there three years ago. I assume it's improved in that regard given the president's ambition.

I'm a student at HPU, and have very little to complain about. Although I am a non-traditional student, I find the entire HPU faculty, staff and student body to be top - notch. I feel that I am getting a quality education and will have worlds of opportunities ahead of me once my degree is completed. However, the only complaints that I have are that I wish the school would allocate some of the funds that are being poured into the main campus to be spread out to the Winston-Salem campus, which is predominately occupied by adult learners who waited a few years into our twenties to get our degrees. The W-S facilities, while clean, are very basic and could benefit from a little sprucing up. Larger classrooms with enhanced classroom technologies would be a huge plus, as well as a broader selection of classes.
