I was wondering if anyone around the triad area ( I live in Greensboro) would have any boxes they don't need anymore. Any size boxes would be fine because I have none and I can't seem to find any. I am moving near UNCG sometime in October and need to go ahead and start packing up... Any help would be great thanks! :-)

Check out craigslist and look under "Free". Sometimes people post when they are giving away moving boxes.

I don't have any at the moment, but really, do ask at the grocery stores! They are happy to give you several, and the egg boxes are well built, great for protecting your stuff. When I did that, the Mgr went around with me to all the various departments asking if they had any extra boxes. The apple boxes are great for books, they are quite sturdy!

go to the ABC store at the corner of Cedar and Friendly and they put their boxes out front for people to take.

Also, check with convenience stores. I get boxes for clients at them all the time.

Good luck!

Another resource for boxes is office depot or staples. They go through tons of paper boxes, which are a very manageable size to move with. Just go in and ask the copy center if they have any.
