I'll be going to Winston-Salem for the first time this weekend for a wedding on Friday night. The rest of the time (Thursday-Sunday) my friends and I would like to know what to do for a fun time. We're all in our 30's. Any suggestions?
The sidewalks roll up early in W-S. I lived in W-S for many decades and I honestly cannot tell you where to go that is special where your group could have fun.
PS - Wherever you end up going be careful if you've been drinking. The police like to hang out and pull people over near any place people might go to have fun and a few drinks. Also, anyone out after dark is considered suspicious. Great town to raise children and to spend your twilight years, but young adults (20s-30s) usually find it very lacking.
Oh wow! Thanks for the heads up about the police. I'm sure we'll be looking pretty suspicious indeed! I think we'll plan on getting a cab. We'll surely find something to do that's fun.... I hope so!! We're all from St. Louis, so it should be fun just to do something different.

You could spend your Saturday afternoon traversing the Yadkin valley. We're expecting good fall like weather too.
