Why do people call it kvegas?? Is it anything like vegas? haha.
What's there to do in Kernersville anyways? I'll be there in a month and was wondering where the hang outs are?
One more question- are there good job opportunities there or close by?!
Thanks guys!!

Well, I hate to tell you this but, it's the anti-Vegas. The happening place is the 24 hour Wall Mart.

I guess Siler City is not the only place where WalMart is the local hangout!

Greensboro has lots going on downtown, clubs, restaurants, local brew pubs. It's close enough to K'ville to be doable on a weekend.

Kernersville seems to be more about the great people, than the sights n' sounds.

Hence the reason it's called K-vegas OP. It's a running joke.

Korner's Folly looks like it could be in a mini - uber cheesy version of Vegas.

agreed, it is the antithesis of las vegas--calm, small town feel. The upside is that its a nice bedroom community smack in between Greensboro and Winston-Salem where there is much more attractions and city activity as well as job opportunities.
