You'll have more luck if you post this in the Western NC forum. Perhaps a mod can move it for you.

Also, it would help if you gave a little more info about what you're looking for--type of food, fine dining or casual, good beer/wine selection, etc.

for breakfast, hit up Sunny Point Cafe. I believe it's technically in West Asheville, but it's worth the drive.

if you like seafood, hit up The Lobster Trap. I know it sounds wierd to recommend seafood in a mountain town, but it's really good.

Bouchon is a great French comfort food place in downtown. great food and a really nice atmosphere.

The Flying Frog Cafe is an interesting spot. Great bar, good lunch food, and great Tapas-style food.

Sante is a nice wine bar in the Grove Park Arcade.

i would recommend checking out www.yelp.com for more reviews. we use them when choosing new restaurants all the time and it lets us down.
