We are building a new house in the Easley area ( Cardinal Woods ) and I'm just inquiring in case we are in need of any storage. If we are lucky enough to find a buyer for our existing home in New Jersey I just want to be prepared in case the new house is not complete and I need some short term storage. Does anyone familiar with the area know whether there is any public storage facilities available? We are scheduled to close on our new home in early September.

Thanks for any tips on storage.

Yes, we used a great facility (gated) called Carolina Center Self Storage. They are located on Powdersville Rd in Easley.

A little background to tell you how great they are.

We moved down here in October and got here on a Thursday and our rental truck was due back early Saturday morning. Embarrasingly enough a storage facility was the one small thing I overlooked But, on Friday I thought it's a storage facility, they're a dime a dozen right? Well, everyone must have more "junk" than what they know what to do with down here because we could find NOTHING open/available! That is until we called Carolina Center Self Storage. They were actually gone for the day but the owner (I guess) felt sorry for me and my plight and actually met me in the rain after they were closed to get me a storage unit.

It's owned by Garret Properties and I think the lady's name was Ann something?

I felt that my stuff was very secure and protected and the fact that she was willing to go out of her way to help me speaks volumes. We no longer need their services but I highly recomend the facility.

Smile Carolina Center Storage

Thanks for the tip on the storage site. I will make myself a note and will look into their facility. I also found anotherpublic storage also in Easley. I believe from our visits I know exactly where Carolina is located. Very close to our new community.
Thanks so much!

Allentown,
I was in Cardinal Woods last week and thought about you. I do believe that you know more about Easley that people who have lived here for years! Good luck on selling your home quickly. Where are you going to stay if your house sells before September?
