I believe it's too late now, but I do not think enough effort was put into getting the old hospital turned into a Veterans place for the upstate. I'm not a vet however my father was a lifer in the Air Force that with the grace from God never had to be in any position that could have been bad for his health. Even with that luck he had,I had and still have the chance to see almost everyday some vet that could benefit from a local hospital in the upstate to help. Even our lazy lawyers in our Goverment have forgotten who really kept the peace in the past! Thanks for giving a 54 year old fart a chance to Vent,,,,,lol,,,,thanks again Chuck
Yes, knew through the thread it was coming, but NOW it's being announced, at least what is coming, I'm sure WHO will not be far behind to be announced.

Whichever grocer is going in will likely use the vacant Winn Dixie space. Winn Dixie left seven years ago, and its space would need some updating. The only thing Winn Dixie lacked during its operation was a pharmacy. Eckerd was next door until it relocated in the early 2000s. The new tenant may absorb its space also.
