Here's something that I didn't know before .... from the Bikeville newsletter:

Greenlink will offer a free Park and Ride during St. Francis Fall for Greenville as part of Footloose. Park and Ride participants can drive, bike or walk to the parking garage at CU-ICAR and ride Greenlink for free to the downtown Transit Center, located on McBee Avenue.
The shuttle will operate at half hour intervals on Friday, October 14 from 5 p.m. - 11 p.m. and on Saturday, October 15 from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. No service is planned on Sunday.

That's great! I think this would BY FAR be the best way to get in and out of downtown during this event. With the expected 150,000+ people this weekend, I think it's a no-brainer to use the free parking at CU-ICAR, and the FREE ride. I hope the word about this really gets out. It might open up some new people to buses in Greenville. Maybe some of those Mauldin and Simpsonville residents who will soon see these services in their neck of the woods.

Does anyone know how the Fall for Greenville wine tasting works? I know there are tickets for food and drinks, but I haven't seen anything about whether the tasting is free, pay-per-sample, or has an entry fee.
