That list is a joke. The fact they would list Vienna, VA as a small town is unbelievably dumb. I guess population was the only thing used to decide what a small town is. Vienna is just outside the DC beltway and has a Metro stop. It sits right in the middle of the massive subraban sprawl that is northern Virginia.

I lived in Simsbury CT from 1980 to 1983, and I worked for five years in the 90s in Arlington Heights IL, right next to Buffalo Grove. Both places are OK and decent places to live ... but top 50 in the country? I think not.
