I have never been to BD's, but after looking at their menu it seems similar to Fire and Ice, a place we had here in Birmingham. I like Genghis a lot, but what was cool about Fire and Ice is you could get big juicy burgers, cheesesteaks, chips and salsa, tortilla wraps, rice, etc., and it was all cooked on the giant round open grill in the middle of the restaurant, along with all of the other selections. BD's seems more along these lines, so I am really excited for you guys. I love the food at Genghis, but I also really miss being able to get a giant juicy burger, and wraps for fajitas, etc. in addition to the mongolian style selections. BD will likely not disappoint.

OK, now that sounds pretty cool.

I live on Woodruff Road (literally and figuratively), and it's not that bad. Problem is that people who come to Woodruff Road to shop/eat, don't know how to drive in order to avoid the "bad" parts at the "bad" times.

The people who do think Woodruff Road is bad, obviously came from Mayberry. It's not even real traffic.

Dude I lived in Myrtle Beach for 10 years. I know traffic. Last time I went I was on 385 to 26, got off on woodruff, took a left at the light and went down to the sprint store. Took 30 minutes to get there. then about 40 minutes to get back on 385 going to 26.

Myrtle Beach is seasonal traffic, and that's not even real traffic.

As for the Sprint Store, I'm assuming you're talking about the corporate store at the corner of Verdin and Woodruff. Unless there was some major accident or it was black Friday, there is no way it took 30 minutes to drive .9 miles (less than a half mile an hour???). Even if it did, you had several options to avoid Woodruff Road totally, or in part. You could have easily taken the Butler Road exit, since Sprint is almost at the corner or Woodruff and Butler. You could have also taken then Roper Mountain Rd exit, hit Feaster Rd and come in that way, since that would have dropped you right at Sprint's front door.

I have lived off of Woodruff Road for almost 9 years, and even now, I can still make it from Five Forks to downtown Greenville in under 20 minutes. I also rarely drive over the speed limit.

bd's is VERY likely to go to Woodruff Road (everything else is), and I'll love having yet another restaurant within 10 minutes of my house.

With the new restaurant, you could be pushing 11.5 minutes now...

Not even really traffic? Bumper to bumper for 50 miles in any direction? What takes 10 minutes off season take 45 minutes in the summer. I guess since you live on woodruff that would be considered normal.
