My family and I are staying in SC for Christmas (instead of traveling to PA) and were wondering if there are any nice restaurants that serve dinner either on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?

Are you looking at restaurants in Greenville, Spartanburg, or the Upstate in general?

Please note a few restaurants are open on Christmas Eve (limited hours). I know on no upscale restaurant availability on Christmas Day (except, of course, with Waffle House, etc)

Definitely available Christmas Eve
Ruth's Chris
Devereaux's
Soby's
The Lazy Goat

Limited Availability - but not sure - call for a reservation
Nantucket Seafood
Rick Erwin's
ChopHouse 47 (http://www.centraarchy.com/chophouse47.php - broken link)
Nose Dive

Uncertain, but a suggestion
City Range
Handi
Saffron Indian Cuisine
Mary Beth's
The Trappe Door
Sassafras (best value in Greenville)
Pita House

Janrey - that's a great list (and for the entire Upstate too)
Yes, please call - as that list is from 2010 (but probably still accurate)

Also, please note that only the cities of Greenville, Spartanburg, Clemson, Pickens, and Easley have smoking bans in restaurants in the Upstate.
