When it comes to yall city slickers in Greenville/Spartanburg. Are there a lot of lights & stop signs? I live in an area where it's so small that there are millions of both everywhere you go. It's such a PITA! Especially... if you happen to drive a manual car or truck.

Is SC cities or small towns spread out enough to were they don't need them as much? Or are there certain areas where there more or less?

Your question is impossible to answer definitively. I think everybody has their own opinion as to whether various specific traffic lights and/or stop signs are needed. Generalizations wouldn't be meaningful, IMO.

I would say Greenville is saturated with stop lights and signs. There are some areas where you might go a mile or 2 without a light or sign but certainly the closer you get to town center the more you will see and likewise the further away you should see less. Is there a specific area you are concerned with?
