We saw them out today marking the side of the road with pink ribbons. I'm assuming this is the beginnings of the road widening to two lanes each way. If anyone knows the scoop, please fill us in. Thanks

Do you mean Locust Hill Road (SC-290) and North Rutherford Road? (More specificies of roads is always appreciated!)

Locust Hill Road is undergoing widening to four lanes in several years. The phase from North SC-101 to Mountain View Road (SC-253) is in the project study phase. Plans include two vehicle lanes in each direction and bicycle lanes. Widening the road around Fairview Baptist Church will displace few properties.
