Hi all,

I just noticed that Charleston has an ongoing general chat thread where area residents and contributors to the thread can just talk about what is on their mind. It could be about local or national issues and how Charlestonians feel about it. There aren't the usual restrictions of having to keep something "on topic".

Should I ask the moderator if we can have one too?

If such a topic would be on topic for discussing local issues and is acceptable, then I would have no problem with it. I would recommend separate topics for Greenville and Spartanburg. Not all of us revolve around Greenville.

Sure! I think we should encourage all the surrounding counties and anyone else who wants to, to contribute.

I'd like to know from anyone who has experienced it what has happened in Anderson County with the municipal water being so toxic for so long that some are needing amputations as a result of consuming it.

I'd also like to know about sailing conditions on the lakes over that way.

Maybe we could organize some get -togethers. Who knows?
