I'm going to need to find private health insurance and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I've always been covered by through company (job), now I need to find it on my own, just for a one person.

Thanks for any help/suggestions/feedback.

I am going through the same thing. Try Blue Cross. SC residents can apply directly through them at southcarolinablues.com. You can get a quote and apply. I found them to be pretty reasonable.

Try ehealthinsurance.com I found reasonable rates and their customer service was excellent. There were a lot of plans to choose from.

We have our dental coverage through Physicians Mutual. They offered the best plan for the best price that we could find. I'd guess they offer full health coverage as well and might be worth checking out.

Definitely do an online comparison. You can see all the different plans from different carriers offered in your state. I did that but it can be confusing because there are so many options.
