If you are on Rt. 25 or Rt 276 going north into TR, make sure you bear left and stay on 276. That is Main St in TR. Staying on 25, you miss the charming part of the town. I think they should have better signs indicating that. TR is small, but it's a cute little town that is growing and improving. Park, get out, and walk from Sunrift Adventures down to Magnolia Inn, and you will have seen pretty much all of TR. Have lunch out on the porch at Cafe @ Williams Hardware.
If you drive there from the south, it's worth a quick detour to see the campus of Furman University, just south of TR.
