This is certainly nice news, although it won't be much of a move for oobē since they're currently located a few steps away (literally) at 511 Rhett Street.

Kind of what I was thinking. Hope the new space has some room for growth!

Greenville Journal published a slightly more in-depth article about this project. According to the reporter, oobē has outgrown its office space in the Old Cotton Warehouse (511 Rhett Street) and temporarily relocated to available space along Park Avenue until construction of the first phase is complete. The article also mentioned a restaurant with outdoor and rooftop dining could be included. An outdoor plaza with a stage for special events is also planned.

This is a great piece of property that I have had my eye on for a long time. I had always wanted to put together enough momentum to make this somewhat of an entertainment district for Greenville but never could get the momentum together. Really Glad that they are moving this project along however as it will be a good anchor for that corridor.

It really sounds promising. I like the sounds of a rooftop restaurant with some live entertainment. I also like the idea of a center square for different events. It's great to see all the positive growth going on and what is being discussed for the future.
