This is very good news. He was surprisingly well received during his last Greenville visit. By that I mean that his campaign officials didn't nearly expect the large sized crowd that actually showed up and packed out McAlister Square to hear him speak. I'm sure this time will be no different.
I hope someone asks him why he removed his American flag lapel pin.
I agree that lapel pin usage is one of the most pressing issues facing our presidential candidates, and luckily some reporters have asked him about it already. Your hope has become a reality!
OOOOH. He's not wearing his (China made) flag lapel pin. Someone quick (FOX NEWS), label him Anti-American! What a huge and important issue that lapel pin is! Kind of like John Edwards haircut was. We don't want the public focusing on the awful war we're stuck in, or the continued loss of American jobs to outsourcing, our shameful healthcare system, or unbridled illegal immigration from Mexico. Let's talk about a 50 cent lapel pin instead.
Personally, I think Obama, is a fantastic, inspirational, intelligent speaker, and I'd vote for him in a heart beat over Hillary Clinton (whom I would vote for under no circumstances whatsoever). He's very refreshing compared to the stale old "Good-Old Boy" pathetic candidates on the Republican side. He just needs to change his pro-illegal immigration stance to get my vote.
FOX news and the like would like to find fault with Obama. They would love to see Hillary Clinton get the Democratic nomination for 2008. Because they know she would lose. I think every poll that says she is leading in the polls is bogus. I don't know a single Democrat who will vote for her.
