are you seriously suggesting there be "caps" put on how much land one company and/or person can own? yes lets get the government in on that, they don't control nearly enough of what we do, my landlord owns 20 acres, i'm sure thats way too much, lol

Caps and limits have been tried. It's called communism and didn't work out so well.

no, i'm saying people should not be barred from buying property

example:
Greenville blocked the Mirage casino's company from buying the baseball field here in Greenville.......eventhough they bidded the higher amount

How and why did they do that sojones? I wasn't aware of that. Of course money isn't everything, their bid could have had some undesirable terms that made it worse overall.
