I remember when they changed the name to Blue Velvet (something like that) ...I drove by there a few days ago and it says "Baskin Robbins" again....

Has been BR for around 6 months now. The fact is not many people care when we have a Brusters right down the street that makes their ice cream in house.

Oh my goodness Pat. We get a scoop of the nutty coconut and a scoop of chocolate and that gives you a Mounds Bar ice cream. Of course we have to share the two scoops. No way we need that much ice cream at one time.

Correct, and we've talked about it in a few threads now. We've stopped in a couple times recently since they reopened and are quite pleased. The staff there are terrific and friendly and the ice cream is amazing, in my opinion. Plus, you can sit inside on a cold evening, unlike Brusters.

I like the idea of making a Mounds out of Nutty Coconut and Chocolate. I have to try that!

I haven't tried it with chocolate but I am sure that would be good. I don't think I could eat two scoops either! Lol. We have Brusters in Easley but they never have nutty coconut! Definitely stopping next time I am there!
