Hughes has bought this building on the adjacent garage. Phase 3 of One could be in the works.

Not sure what to make of that statement haha. Cool news though, especially if they really do have potential tenants who were interested in One but didn't get the space. I look forward to seeing what potentially comes of this.

It will NOT be the state's tallest building.

It adds even more density, so that's ok. I love what it is becoming. Downtown is becoming so modern, yet still unique.

Very true. I don't know exactly how tall it will be though. I'll gladly take 300 feet and call it a day.

Absolutely. Do you have anymore information, or rumors about this?

This is a great move for that area. Not sure how much renovation is planned for the building but, re-skinning the building would make the block a lot nicer.

I agree. The exterior is 70ish. Hughes is involved with some quality projects locally. I'm sure it'll be nice, whatever he does.

WYFF News 4 reported Hughes' intention to make the BOA tower resemble the two new towers at Main and Washington. That could be an interesting (and expensive) transformation.
