Could you all suggest a good pool company for new installation? Most of the companies around Greenville don't have many/any reviews. We're interested in a gunite pool.
Sorry I can't recommend a good pool installer. The company that installed mine is no longer in business. But I'd like to give you some advice on options. Spend the money now, enjoy the savings later. Get a salt system as chlorine can cost you close to $100 / month in the summer. I did not buy mine with my pool but since I put it in my water chemistry is so easy to maintain. I am sure I am saving a $100 - $200 on chemicals other than chlorine per year and I don't buy chlorine all summer I have to be saving $500 - $600 there. You still have to put chlorine in during the winter but I get by on like a $50 bucket. Plus salt makes your water soft so it feels good! A variable speed pump. This will cut you electric costs by at least half if not more.
