Hi,

We are thinking of relocating to the Greenville area. I wanted to get more information on the approximate costs of in-home daycares in this area. Can anyone give me any guidance?

Do you mean people who babysit a number of children in their homes? I'm not sure about that cost but I know the going rate for day care facilities (both independent businesses and church child development centers) start at $135/week. SC Child Services has a listing of licensed/qualified daycare providers (both in home and out of home) in the Greenville area.

As in nannies? Probably 10-20/hr. Tried care.com?

It varies based on the qualifications and I would only use someone who is registered as anyone can call themselves an in home daycare. I would expect to pay a minimum of $110 a week however unlike some large facilities, they may have part time options.

Thanks for the responses! Yes I mean a person or two who watches a handful of children in their home. I am not necessarily looking for a nanny for just my child.
