West Greenville lacks a major grocery store along the lines of Bi-Lo, Ingle's, Publix and Walmart Neighborhood Market. Although alternatives exist with Aldi and Save A Lot, residents want the major traditional grocery stores with the necessities of food and pharmacy.
Site space for a grocery store seems to be unavailable.
