Also at the old Goledn Chick on Pleasanburg I would , like to see a , Paul's BBQ with free WFI , SKY lights , weather center , Frist aid center , free mints , nice tables etc , nice restrooms , kids eat free on the weekends , smoke free inside and out , old fashion milk shakes , Paul's Big plate with , brisket , coleslaw , waffle fires , hushpuppiers , corn snd black beans , crab cake stuff with grouper in it , BBQ Back beans , green beans , half price of old fashion southern fired Chicken , sweet corn bread and peach pecan cream Chesse cake , also free coffee on Monday's then at the old Goldern Chick in Greenwood I would like to see a , Pannda Express
I was not aware that the Golden Chick on Pleasantburg had closed down. I am disappointed to hear this news as I think they have good food. Perhaps sales did not meet expectations. Hopefully the Pelham Rd. store will remain open. But I will say that the Pleasantburg store could be easily converted to Popeyes and that would be a great idea.
How about a PopEyes at the old Goldern Chick on Plesatburg it would be a great idea
That former Golden Chick could easily be converted to a Popeyes and they are supposedly planning locations in the Greenville area. The Gaffney store is doing well and a store is currently under construction in Boiling Springs. I have heard they are also looking at a location in Greer.

I have not heard anything lately of Walmart cancelling plans for Walmart Supercenter #6223. Just because it is not being built does not mean plans have been abandoned. Walmart may be committed to the new store, but it is not a high priority at the present.

Kroger's options for further expansion in South Carolina are through Harris Teeter, Kroger Marketplace stores in the Atlanta Division, or the acquisition of an existing market participant. A Kroger Marketplace would be very nice in Greenville.
