We are going to be moving into the Greenville area in the last part of Jan. I am working on a budget and was wondering what a rough estimate on the electric bills are. We will be living in a apartment complex. Thank you for any information.

Duke Power rates are $61 per 1000kwh for those of us who have been here for awhile.

I pay $137 per month for 11 months on their easy monthly payment plan. =/-2000sf with 4ton heatpump.

Default Reply to electric bill costs

If you have the address and apartment number, you can call the electric company and inquire what the bill ran the previous tenants. I do this everytime I move. Good luck with you move!

Those numbers don't make sense to me...are you sure they are correct?

To use 1000 watts for an hour your figures say it would cost $61.00. Are you sure it's not $0.061 per KWH?
