Good morning everyone...

We have recently moved into the area w/ 3 children, oldest already in braces for about 1.5 years. Other two will need them at some point. Does anyone have a good recommendation for an orthodontist in the area? We live around the Brushy Creek Elem School area. Already went to one place and was quoted a price that was about what we've already paid into the braces and was quoted an additional 1.5 years which doesn't sit right with me. Best place to find something good is a recommendation I say. Any insight/help would be appreciated.

TIA

Thanks Simpsonvillian... called Dr. Summers and was sad to hear they wanted to charge me $50 just to do a consult for us. Decided against that. Hoping to hear more recommendations.

I work for a number of dentist offices (IT work), and some of the ortho offices in the upstate I've been in (and liked the office/staff) are Ashby Park Ortho (off of butler road), Harrison Ortho, Palmetto family ortho, and Waters Ortho. I also really like the staff at Summers Ortho, but you've already ruled them out.

Thanks Coren... I'll check those other ones out. Palmetto we have an appt at. Wish Summers would have been more open to just a consult as i've heard good things about them.

I heard the South Carolina Orthodontics Group had a special for $3995 which I believe is the cheapest in town. I just looked at their website and it says free consults, xrays, and treatment plans.
