Who has the best coverage in the area? I have T-Mobile now and for the same price and an iPhone 6s (I have the iPhone 5s now), I can go with AT&T.

Our T-Mobile is not that great, especially in the mountains. We put up with it because it is less than $50 a month, including taxes, and it serves our purpose. If we paid much more, we would not be very happy with it.

Instead of AT&T, try Cricket. They are the same as AT&T but half the price

Virgin Mobile in the house here. I pay $30 a month ($32 with taxes) for an iphone 5C. Great signal on Sprint networks. They have the iphone 6 now. You have to buy the phone outright with VM, though. Mine was a little under $600, but I still save money over most plans.

The plan would only cost me about $70 including the phone as I can bundle with other services and get several discounts. Plus that includes 5GB.

I can second that. As said above, Cricket is AT&T except capped at a slower speed. But I still get a reliable 8-10 Mbps download and more like 12-15 Mbps upload on Cricket. That is plenty good enough for streaming video.

I pay $55/month all up for a 10 GB plan and they have lower prices for less data ($35/month for 2.5 GB data). Brought my own phone purchased elsewhere and it works like a charm. Additional lines get a $10/line discount for the second line, $20/month discount for a third, and so on.

AT&T also has another prepay service called GoPhone but when I was last looking they had less data for the price.

I also endorse Cricket. Best price for AT&T network.

Even though it doesn't answer the OP's question, while we're listing the discount versions of the big boys,

Total Wireless , discount Verizon service without LTE; Internet will be slower.
