I just bought a fixer-upper in Easley and I need some recommendations for some the services.
1. Fencing company
2. Deck company
3. Plumber
4. Handyman. However, not just someone who you call over to put in a new faucet. I need somebody who is more of a toned down GC. I am going to be installing and Ikea kitchen, but I need someone to help reconfigure portions of walls and other things to prepare the space.
Call Paul Rochester at Priority Contracting. Paul, his son and brother are some of the most honest guys I've met in this business. They never up charge you on parts and they do a very good job. I have them working on my basement finishing and my rental homes. They have helped me stay well below budget and I've checked with a LOT of contractors. Paul is also a GC and he has built several homes. I've already referred several C-D members all with glowing results.
For a well-rounded handyman, I often recommend William Luckey, (864) 216-1238. He's my go-to guy, having done a number of jobs around my home, including a new roof, a kitchen makeover, fencing, framing and finishing, and he has always done satisfactory work at a fair price. I have recommended him to a number of friends, and they have been satisfied also. You can tell him you were referred by DB.
I suppose this is as good of a place as any to post this. I want to re-do my 6ft wood privacy fence and looking into adding on to my concrete patio or building a deck or enclosed patio onto the back of my house. I want to talk to someone about possiblities. Recommendations appreciated!
