Gold's Gym for the former Bloom location on S Pleasantburg across from Home Depot. Posted below in Greer thread that Gold's was going in the Greer/Wade Hampton location as well.
Not sure. Just saw the coming soon sign tonight on the S Pleasantburg store. Mauldin and Pelham Falls would probably be good locations for Golds as well.

That doesn't seem like a good location.. Don't get me wrong.. Happy to see something going in there, but..
Speaking to the Pleasantburg location.
I guess maybe they'll pull clients from the Augusta Rd area?
These are the former Bloom and Food Lion stores in Greenville County, South Carolina:
Bloom #2729, 901 Holland Road, Simpsonville, South Carolina 29681-5708
Food Lion #2201 (Bloom #2728), 1207 West Wade Hampton Boulevard, Greer, South Carolina 29650-1244
Food Lion #2207 (Bloom #2700), 1332 South Pleasantburg Drive, Greenville, South Carolina 29605-1331
Food Lion #2210 (Bloom #2727), 3093 South Highway 14, Greer, South Carolina 29650-4820
Food Lion stores 2201 and 2207 are being gutted and renovated for Gold's Gym. I know the former Food Lion #2201 has been gutted and its vestibule removed.
Bloom #2729 and Food Lion #2210 remain vacant. They are good locations for another supermarket (i.e. Walmart Neighborhood Market) to open. I think Bloom #2729 has a better reuse for religious use.

I thought the vacant building at the corner of Roper Mountain Rd and Frontage Rd right off of 385 was a former Bloom.

History of 401 Roper Mountain Road:
-Harris Teeter from August 1996-2001 (sold to BI-LO)
-BI-LO from July 2001-2007 (relocated to Verdae Blvd)
-NewSpring Church from 2007-2009 (forced to move after BILO sold/lost the property in bankruptcy and leases were canceled)
There was talk in early 2015 of the site becoming a medical office complex, but nothing ever happened.

There is a remaining Food Lion store on Georgia Ave. in Simpsonville that was a former Bloom. It has the nice, modern design and seems to have remained as a good performing store. And there is an older style Food Lion in Moonville as well as a location in Lyman. So they seem to be hanging on in the Upstate with a few select stores.
