"Project Door" has been identified as Advanced Ceramic Coatings, a joint venture between General Electric Aviation and Italy-based Turbocoating Corporation. Advanced Ceramic Coatings will produce advance coatings for General Electric's high-temperature ceramic composite components in its jet engines. It projects to begin operation at its 62,500-square-foot facility at 1191 Howell Road, Duncan, South Carolina 29334-8860, in the third quarter of 2017.
