As a new member to the Mauldin Area I am looking for the best deals for golf memberships. Can anyone recommend courses in Mauldin and surrounding area that offer membership deals and what the costs are and what they include. Thank you all for responding!

Not sure about any deals or your price range.

But here are the courses that are probably the closest to Maudlin. Most breakdown membership costs and benefits on their website.

Legacy Pines - Never played here
Piedmont GC - Played here years ago wasn't too impressed. Definitely a good ole boy course at least it was then.
Fox Run CC - Heard good things, but never played here.
Carolina Springs GC - Good budget course. Used to be 27 holes, now its 18. Think they struggled when the economy tanked. But it looked good the last time I drove by.
The Preserve at Verdae - A bit more on the higher end. One of 3 area courses that web.com BMW Celebrity Pro AM uses each year.
Holly Tree Country Club - Fully private club.

A bit further out:
Willow Creek - Nice course tends to be a bit more than I want to spend though.
Greer Country Club - Another budget friendly course. Nice challenging layout
Southern Oaks - Out near Easley. Good course, greens and fairways are usually in good shape, though a few holes have drainage issues. Cart paths definitely could stand to be redone in many places.
