I am not sure. It looks like another new subdivision. I was up in Boiling Springs today and was blown away at all of the construction and new homes being built. On Clark Road and Hwy.9 alone, someone is developing the land next to the Ingles and the corner at the light across from Ingles.
At the back of the property next to Turtle Creek is a large strip of land that they are clearing. This was the piece of property Scarinzi was asking about. The front of the property has not been touched where they were going to build the mixed use development. What is interesting is that the property next to that has just been sold. The huge piece of farm land on the other side of #9 looks like it is getting ready to be developed. As far as the Publix they probably bailed so that they could be a part of the bigger development at Boiling Springs Rd(#9), Double Bridge Rd., and Old Furnace Rd like you said CK.
A partner in the redevelopment of the Boling Springs Road/Double Bridge Road/Old Furnace Road site has developed retail centers anchored by supermarket Publix.
nans123 is correct. The area they are grading is further back than the proposed Commons at Turtle Creek.
That area of #9 down Clark to Seay rd is blowing up.
