Been wanting to try one of these for a while and have a group wanting to check one out in the next week or two. Anyone have any experience going to one around here? Recommend one over another?
The one off Garlington.. Small.. But fun. You can generally get the room to yourself or your group. Only three games in there. They're tough, but not REALLY tough. I solved all three of them successfully with myself and a 12 or 15 year old.
Breakout games, down on North Main, I believe. They have far more games in there and they are.. Pretty tough. They get a little more.. What's the word? More roleplay with them? The one I've done with them, they actually blindfold and handcuff you in the room.
We failed to get out of that one, however.. It wasn't necessarily the toughness of it, but one particular part. They had a visual thing to solve a clue that my brain just couldn't process. We'll leave it at that. Outside of that.. Tough, but we would have made it out.
The.. Strike Zone.. Whatever the bowling place is.. They have a few rooms.. Only did one there.. WAY too easy unless you're in there with small kids.
End of the day.. Doesn't matter where you go, you'll have fun. Try them all.
