The first flight out to Denver departs from GSP on June 7 at 6 a.m. and arrives at 7:31 a.m. (Mountain time).
Ugh - why does it depart at 6 AM? If you need to be at the airport an hour before departure, that means getting up at 4 AM or earlier to catch the flight.

Catering to the business travelers no doubt.

Means you can make it to just about anywhere on the west coast by lunchtime, including the connection.

And hey, those early flights are rarely delayed because equipment and crew are already here.

The other side of that is that since you got up at 4 AM to make the flight, it will make the 3 hour time change on the west coast feel even worse. I just wish this was an 8 or 8:30 departing flight instead.

Still great to have this as an option, though, even if using it makes you lose some sleep.

On the one hand this is great news for Greenville. I'd like to visit Denver one day, although my lung issues may make that a pipe dream. On the other hand, if I went I'd have to take the connecting flight through another airline. United likes to manhandle their passengers, LOL.

Or just fly Frontier. Starting in May, they’re bumping up Denver to 4x a week.

That's awesome! Nonstop? If not, my joke about taking connecting flights in order to avoid flying United still stands, LOL.
