I have a relative who works for Publix in Fort Mill.

He has seen people break out into near fights over toilet paper.

I can't write any of this with a straight face; I wish that I were joking.

What in the heck is with the toilet paper?

I hope that people are retaining their composure in our area (Greenville).

The only positive thing about the corona outbreak, is that in certain circles, it seems to have quelled the destructive, divisive, idiotic, squabbling between people of varying political ideologies.

"We already have a thread on the coronavirus"

I wish not to add or subtract from that thread, but to focus on the civility between my fellow countrymen.

You do realize that a lack of cohesion between people, will loose more damage than the coronavirus?

Oh My Goodness NO!

Been in many stores last few days. Haven't seen one that's out of stock on TP.

I find it hard to believe Publix shopper's fight. I thought that only happened at Walmart on Black Friday. Lot's of videos on that.

Spartanburg’s pretty chill — no fights. Even at Costco, lots of check outs open. Lady in front of me had three large Boston Ferns. No toilet paper hoarding.

Appreciate the good report.

How would you even react, if a fellow shopper pulled toilet paper out of your buggy? I think I would be too much in shock to say anything

The relative about which I speak is in his mid 60s; he's not one to exaggerate, and he's viewing the conflict on a first hand basis.

I don't know what the mad rush is on the purchase of TP

Not sure what that means.

I don’t think we’ll see much of that. They’ll be the inevitable viral videos similar to Black Friday sales from random places here or there in the US though I’m sure. TP...I guess it’s the virus version of winter weather with bread & milk?

Yeah, I don't get it.

The news media is getting everyone in a frenzy.
